Abstract:
As an intense,nonuniform ultrashortlaser pulse sticks the over dense plasma,theelectron mass increases and the electron plasma frequency decreases due to relativistic effect.Laser wave can penetrate the plasma more deeply. Abstract:
Physical equations of laser ablative hydrodynamic instability in the code EUL2D is given. Slide grids and some techniques in the calculation is reported. Simulation results of the EUL2D code are good agreements with those of the Takabe formula, the FAST2D code and the LASNEX code. Our numerical simulation reproduced the experimental result of laser ablative Rayleigh-Taylor instability in Osaka University. It is discovered that lateral ablation of electron conduction plays an important role in nonlinear evolution of the Rayleigh-Taylor instability with a longer wavelength .

It is theoretically demonstated that a design of flat-field grazing-incidence spectrograph for soft X-ray is practicable through the numeral calculations of the light path function of the flat-field grating-incidence concave grating. The flexibility of use of the flat-field grating with variable spacing grooves are improved. Furthermore, under the condition of keeping the flat-field focusing, the light flux of the spectrograph can be increased about one order of magnitude by cancelling the entrance slit of the spectrograph .

The fabricating technology of Ar ion beam etching for largearea microlens array of 128×128 in ZrO2, InP, Si, and SiO2 substrates, was discussed in this paper. The experimental results showed that the experimental conditions of fabricating microlens array with the pdeterminating parameters in the different substrates were different. The energy efficiency and radiation non-uniformity of planar radiation field provided by several kinds of hohlraum are calculated. For hohlraum with fixed laser entrance holes and fixed laser beams an adequate ratio of planar target area to hohlraum wall area can satisfy the requirement of both higher energy efficiency and lower radiation non-uniformity of target.

Abstract:
The design method of the high voltage and the fast response time pulse transformer used in the condition of low load impedance was introduced. A nominal voltage 600kV pulse transformer used in a modulation type accelerator was designed with this method and the results of the experimental value consistent with the theoretical value are obtained. It showed that the design method is feasible and can be used in the design of higher voltage pulse transformers .

We examined carefully the reliability of C8 code according to 3D Fresnel integral equations. The transmission behavior of the short wavelength laser in virtual confocal cavity with circular mirrors of spherical surfaces were computed and analyzed. Under condition of the same transmission distance, the distribution of farfield intensity changes from the projection of nearfield intensity distribution to the distribution of superGaussian when magnification on m changes from 10 to 1.42.

UV laserinduced damage threshold in fused silica was theoretically investigated based on the model that the conduction band electrons were produced from defect states via linear absorption and from valence band via twophoton absorption. Abstract:
Ni-like Sm X-ray laser pumped by double short duration pulse was simulated with series code. Simulation results were compared with experiments done by RAL in UK.The curved target and the ununiformity on line focus were also researched. The Optimization in duration, intensity and delay time were done. Using curved target with radius of 200cm and with 85ps duration, 3.4ns delay time, 9% ppulse and 5.82×1013W/c m 2 main pulse intensity, the output X-ray laser energy was also increasing to 10 times in 18mm length single target.

The Nilike Dy, Er and Yb Xray lasers were observed under lower pumping laser irradiance of(58)×1013W/cm2 using the premainpulse laser driving scheme. The new convex cylindrical lens array was designed. The techniques of focus line overlapping and double target coupling were used. The gain coefficient of 1.6 and 1.4cm-1was meassured for Nilike Yb and Dy laser respectively.

A singlemode operation of 40Hz Nd:YAG laser for application in high power laser  system was designed and manufactured using a ring cavity configuration, containing etalon and tuning loss conveniently technology. The laser can be operated at 5mJ per pulse with a pulse width of 15~40ns without modulation, the output energy fluctuation less than 8% and pulse repetition frequency(PRF) can be used at 40Hz.

Abstract:
A lot of physical processes, after the electron beam was injected into the plasma edge, are analyzed in details. In particular, we analyzed the formations of the parallel current layer and the radial negative electrical field which makes the plasma confinement transition from the low mode to the high mode,i.e,LH thransition.It was confirmed that the density of the injected electron beam exceed the fixed value, the threshold value for LH thransition,the LH transition was triggered.

The influence of surface condition on temperature was also studied. Laser spot influence on temperature rise was given under the same laser power and target thickness. The purpose of this paper is to determine numerically the transient spatial distribution of electric field in an electromagnetic pulse simulator excited by a time varying high power pulse source using an integral equation of the time domain. Abstract:
A new coaxialstructure SuperReltron was explored to develop a low impedance high power microwave tube. This source will have a power output of about 2.5GW with 25% efficiency at 52GHz, input modulate voltage is 125kV and post accelerating voltage is 600kV.Numerical simulations show that the frequency is approximately inversely proportional to the length of screen, and the scaling of output power is proportional to I2 , when the current is less than the space charge-limit .

The Vircator generates microwaves at 5.17GHz with several hundred MW and at 774GHz with several MW in our experiments.According to the single charge sheet model of the Virtual Cathode Oscillator, the microwave at 5.17GHz is produced by the oscillation of the virtual cathode itself;the microwave at 7.74GHz is produced by the interaction of the oscillation of the virtual cathode and the modulated electron beam by the oscillation of the virtual cathode or the reflected electron beam.
