Research progress in electromagnetic solitons resulted from laser-plasma interaction

摘要: 激光-等离子体相互作用产生电磁孤立子是等离子体中重要的非线性现象之一。介绍了激光-等离子体中电磁孤立子研究的过程,比较详细地叙述了国内外数值模拟研究取得的一些研究成果,重点介绍了近几年在Rutherford Appleton实验室进行的实验研究进展情况。最后对于激光-等离子体相互作用中电磁孤立子的研究进行了总结和评述,并指出进一步研究需要解决的重要问题。Abstract: The electromagnetic solitons generated by laser-plasma interaction is one of the main non-linear phenomena in plasmas. The paper introduces the investigation on the electromagnetic solitons in plasmas and some important numerical simulation results. The experimental evolution recently for the electromagnetic solitons study at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory is expatiated. The history and development about the study of electromagnetic solitons in plasma are reviewed and summarized.
