Abstract: The theoretical formulas and calculated resulted of transport of IREB under a converging magnetic guide field is given in this paper. The results is: (1) beam energy transmitted fraction through the magnetic field lens decrease as magnetic mirror rate increase, (2) beam energy transmitted fraction through the magnetic field lens increase as the magnetic flux density at the cathode, (3) there is a up limit on the beam fluence for a certain system.
