多段式钕玻璃板条激光放大器小信号增益系数和储能效率的实验研究

摘要: 用阈值法和行波放大法对我们自行设计、加工的新型多段式钕玻璃板条激光放大器的小信号增益系数和储能效率作了测量,结果表明,放大器储能效率可达3.84%,比常规放大器更高;此外,还具有向高功率、高光束质量发展的潜在优点。

Abstract: By measuring threshold and using traveling wave amplification, the small signal gain coefficient and storage efficiency of a novel multi –slab Nd:glass laser amplifier designed and fabricated by us have been determined experimentally. It has been shown that a storage efficiency of 3.84% has been achieved in the use of this amplifier, which is higher than that of the conventional amplifier. Furthermore, the multi –slab laser amplifier has the potential advantage of providing the high power and good beam quality.
