水滴烧蚀激光推进性能测试
Performance measurements of laser propulsion with water spray droplets

摘要: 以脉冲式TEA CO2激光器为光源将雾化水滴用作推进剂进行了激光推进实验研究。由力传感器测量得出的推力随时间的变化关系曲线得出了冲量耦合系数的大小。实验发现水工质激光推进冲量耦合系数的大小与雾化水滴的尺寸、速度等性能参数及其分布密切相关,水滴尺寸和速度越小,速度分布范围越集中,冲量耦合系数越大。Abstract: A TEA CO2 laser was employed to ablate spray droplets for laser propulsion. The momentum coupling coefficient was derived from the force sensor data. Experimental results indicate that the coupling coefficient is largely dependent on droplet Sauter mean diameter(SMD), velocity and their joint distribution and that as SMD and velocity decrease with a narrower range of speed distribution, the momentum coupling coefficient increases.
