2 kW continuous wave power combining technique in S band

摘要: 介绍了S波段基于行波管放大器的2 kW连续波功率合成技术。对大功率合成效率以及影响幅相一致性的原因进行了分析。在分析的基础上设计了2 kW连续波功率合成放大器,阐述了幅度均衡的实现方法、相位均衡的实现方法和合成器的击穿保护措施,并开展了实验研究,实验结果表明:采取幅相均衡技术以后,合成效率大于95%。Abstract: This paper introduces the 2 kW continuous wave power combining technique based on TWTs. It mainly proceeds the analysis of the combining efficiency and the factors influencing the conformation of magnitude and phase. A 2 kW power amplifier is designed based on the analysis. The magnitude equalizing, phase equalizing and combiner protecting are also discussed. The experiments indicate that the combining efficiency can be greater than 95% with magnitude and phase equalizing technique.
