摘要: 从Lawson和Humphries公式以及强流束中的储能导出ν/γ的表达式(ν为Budker参数,γ为相对论因子),对它的物理含义作了充分说明。可用它来表征强流束的总体性质,它代表了强流束的自场横向电磁能与轴向动能之比。

Abstract: ν/γ is an important physical parameter. ν,γ, are the Budker parameter and the relativistic mass factor, respectively. In this paper, its basic physical sense is expounded from three aspects of Lawson and Humphries formula and energy storage in intense relativistic electron beam. It can be expressed as the ratio of transverse electro-magnetic energy in the beam to its axial motion kinetic energy. For ν/γ closed to or greater than 1, there is an important self field effect in intense relativistic electron beam transport.
