化学气相沉积金刚石X射线探测器
Chemical vapor deposited diamond detectors for soft X-ray power measurement

摘要: 为得到一种对可见光不响应而在辐射探测范围内平响应的X射线探测器,研究了一种化学气相沉积金刚石X射线探测技术,以作为硅与真空X射线二极管探测技术的补充。首先对化学气相沉积金刚石进行品质检测,利用两种规格的金刚石集成制作出X射线探测器,之后在8 ps激光器装置上开展了探测器的时间响应等性能研究。实验结果表明:探测器系统前沿响应时间可达60 ps,半高全宽可达120 ps,与真空X射线二极管探测系统时间特性一致,可以满足ICF实验对X射线辐射测量的应用。Abstract: Diamonds have high thermal conductivity, resistivity and breakdown field, fast charge collection, low leakage current, wide band-gap, low dielectric constant, large carrier drift velocity and outstanding radiation hardness. A class of wide band-gap semiconductor offers an attractive alternative to Si and X-ray diode detector technologies for X-ray detection in inertial confinement fusion(ICF) experiments. Using chemical-vapor-deposited (CVD) technology, 1 mm×1 mm×2 mm(type-A) and 1 mm×1 mm×3 mm(type-B) diamonds were synthesized. The quality of the diamonds was examined by Ramma spectrum. The detectors was fielded and characteristics of these detectors were studied on a 8 ps pulse-wide laser equipment.
