Abstract
Yb-doped aluminophosphosilicate fiber with 30 m core and 900 m clad was successfully fabricated and presented 6.03 kW laser output with a slope efficiency of 61.25% at 1080 nm. Stably running at 5 kW, the beam profile factor M2 is measured to be 2.38.
