When an electron beam is injected into plasma, an ionchannel might form if the beam density is relatively high. A dispersion equation of a circular cylindrical waveguide with the ionchannel taken into account is given in this paper. The properties of dispersion and wave growth rates have also been discussed for two cases, one is that the ionchannel was taken into account, and the other is that the ionchannel was neglected.
