The foamed nickel was synthesized by electrodeposition technique. The effect of current density, temperature, duty cycle and pulse frequency on crystal texture and magnetic properties of deposits were studied. The structure and micro-morphology were observed by scanning electron microscope and transmission electron microscope, respectively. Three-dimensional network foamed nickel with density of 0.25 g/cm3, porosity of 97.5 %, pore diameter ranged from 400 to 500 μm was prepared. Test results show that the big particles of deposits are was 1 μm in size and the crystallite size of deposits does not exceed 10 nm.
