A triple resonance pulse transformer, based on an air-cored transformer, is described. By analyzing the triple resonance pulse transformer lossless circuit, the analytical expression for the output voltage and the relation of the circuit parameters are presented when the normal-mode frequencies are in the ratios of 1∶2∶3. In this case, the ratio of the peak high voltage winding’s voltage to the peak output voltage is 0.36. According to the results of theoretic analysis, the circuit parameters of a triple resonance pulse transformer such as coupling coefficient, tuning inductor, tuning capacitor, primary capacitor, load capacitor are simulated.
