The reconstruction method of digital holographic phase information based on lateral shearing interferometer was studied and a method to obtain the coefficients of the linear phase aberration was proposed. It is pointed out that one-dimensional phase unwrapping for original phase map is the precondition of the lateral shearing method. The numerical reconstruction for digital holograms with and without noise was conducted. The results show that the proposed process is very effective for a weak noisy hologram, but for a strong noisy hologram, median filter should be applied to the original phase map and then applied to the reconstructed phase map to obtain a high quality image.
