The beam halo generation in a high-intensity proton radio frequency quadrupole (RFQ) accelerator is one of the key issues, as the beam halo will probably result in beam loss in the downstream linac. A special beam transport line and the measurement system are to be built to study the beam halo generation in the accelerator driven subcritical system (ADS) RFQ accelerator. The measurement of the beam profile, especially the halo distribution is the core of this study. In this paper, the layout of the detectors in the beam transport line is presented.
