The broadband USED CARS measurements of temperature and N2 concentration in the combustion of solid propellant at atmospheric pressure are reported. The singlepulse N2 CARS spectra have been obtained from solid propellant combustion. The CARS data are analyzed by comparison with theoretical spectra generated at various temperatures and N2 concentrations. The temperatures and N2 concentrations of the solid propellant flame at different height have been measured and the results indicate temperature up to 2 250K with N2 concentration of 16%~20%.
