A novel resonator for transit time tube is put out and the interaction between the electron beam and the eigenmode in the resonant, with the 2.5 dimensional partical simulation code. The simulation indicated that the electron beam can well interact with the eigenmode in three and four cavity resonant. An Xband transit time tube oscillator is designed. With the voltage 760kV, the current 6kA and the magnetic field 2.6T in the simulation, the output power is about 1.7GW and interaction efficiency is about 37%.
