Abstract: The complex electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) test and evaluation (TE), as described in MIL-HDBK-237D, are discussed of military platforms, systems, subsystems, or equipment in acquisition life cycle processes. With the analysis of complex military electromagnetic environment (EME) including radiated and conducted emissions from intentional and unintentional sources, the methods for complex EME adaptability or immunity developmental test and evaluation(DTE) and operational test and evaluation(OTE) are proposed either to assure visibility, accountability, or to assure management awareness and establish complex military EME performance TE standards.
